The new home to Brion Energy will be a 27-storey, 564,000 square foot, "AAA", LEED Gold Certified office tower. 707 Fifth Street's distinct elliptical form, with floor-to-ceiling glass, is designed to maximize panoramic views of the city and the Rockies.

The concrete-core, steel framed office tower was completed in 2017.

Design Assist Elements

  • Developed an adjustable curved bent plate system at the slab edge.

  • Performed embed surveys and fabricated on site shim plates to capture the precise geometrical angle needed.

  • Recommended 70 ksi steel for the lower columns.

  • Redesigned (4) 46-tonne, below-grade transfer girders to accommodate the tower crane capacity and working radius.

  • Provided input and sourced oval HSS mullions from Europe for the sawtooth entryway.

  • Proposed a modular built-up box lift for the AESS steel in the Winter garden
