Mosaic K2 Expansion

The Esterhazy K2 expansion project added a third independent circuit to the mill wet side as well as corresponding additions and upgrades to the mill dry side equipment, including the addition of a fourth compaction circuit. The K2 expansion will increased production from 2.6 Mtpy to 3.4 Mtpy by 2012.

Supermétal was awarded 3 packages in 2 years, 2009-2011, stemming from our success at the wet mill area. On top of our steel erection scope of work, our construction division installed equipment such as fluid-bed dryers, scrubber units, and overhead cranes.
