RioTinto Alcan, AP60

Rio Tinto Alcan (RTA) has built a demonstration to test and continue developing its proprietary AP60 smelting technology, the most modern aluminum reduction technology developed to date.

 

Supermetal fabricated and installed 6500 tonnes of structural steel for 2 parallel pot lines. Minimizing work at heights by modularizing on the ground.

 

Successful implementation of Rio Tinto Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) management systems: The project was audited by a 3rd party and received commendation for exceptional leadership in Health, Safety and Environment (HSE).
