The $245 million New Central Library, located just east of City Hall in Calgary's East Village, will be 240,000 square feet of functional, flexible, beautifully designed space. The project features prominent steel, wood and concrete features and is supported by heavy four-story stacked plate trusses.
The Schulich School of Engineering has a new home on campus, launching a new era in engineering education and research excellence. The Canadian Natural Resources Limited Engineering Complex opened to students in the fall of 2016 and includes two new 240-seat theatres, additional classrooms, labs, workrooms and research space.

The design concept for the Pembina Hall Residence was no small feat: build two slender 14 story towers at each end of the building with sufficient strength to support a 10-story high residence block; incorporate 36 rooms on each level; have the residence block span 50 metres over the existing 2-story Pembina Hall.
This unique structure offers facilities that can be found nowhere else under a single roof. The building will contain a wide and very flexible range of major venues-a 1,200-seat concert hall, a 400-seat theater, a 3,500-square-foot studio, and a 2,500-square foot studio-as well as suites for artists-in-residence, rehearsal spaces, and student and support facilities.
